Are you passionate about developing people and helping to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care? We’re looking for a Learning & Development Officer to support our staff, volunteers and Trustees to build the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to deliver safe, effective and person‑centred support across Chrysalis. This is a hands‑on, rewarding role where you’ll deliver engaging training, champion professional development and help embed a strong learning culture throughout the organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering engaging training sessions, including induction, mandatory and refresher training
- Supporting staff to develop their skills and progress in their roles
- Identifying learning needs and contributing to development plans
- Coordinating training programmes and working with external providers
- Supporting access to recognised qualifications
- Monitoring training compliance and maintaining accurate records
- Contributing to continuous improvement in care quality through learning

- Experience in learning & development, training or a care environment
- Understanding of training requirements in a regulated care setting (or willingness to learn)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A collaborative, approachable style and ability to build strong relationships
