We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Service Manager to lead a community‑based day centre supporting adults with learning disabilities in Carlisle. Whether you’re an experienced manager or a strong senior ready to step up, this role offers the opportunity to shape a service, support a dedicated team, and make a genuine impact every day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the day‑to‑day delivery of a high‑quality community activities service
  • Supporting, mentoring and developing your team to perform at their best
  • Promoting independence, choice and meaningful engagement for the people we support
  • Driving continuous improvement and maintain high standards

About you:

  • Experience in adult social care (learning disabilities experience highly desirable)
  • Confident leading teams and supporting staff development
  • Strong understanding of person‑centred care, safeguarding and quality standards
  • Level 4 Health and Social care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Motivated, organised and committed to delivering high‑quality support

Additional information:

  • Participation in an on‑call rota (with additional allowance)
  • Full time, permanent position based in Carlisle
