Chronos Energy have partnered with a Low Carbon Energy Developer who are currently recruiting for a Head of Sales. The company are going through an ambitious growth stage, looking to triple their revenue in the coming years. The Head of Sales will be responsible for defining & leading the sales strategy for O&M and M&B services in the Low Carbon Heat sector. The Head of Sales will own and develop the pipeline, managing existing key client relationships as well as developing new relationships. This is not only a revenue growth role, there is also the expectation to recruit and grow a team.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute commercial strategy for O&M, metering, and billing services
  • Build a strong pipeline in the retrofit & new-build markets
  • Lead commercial negotiations from initial contact to contract close
  • Build and mentor a high performing sales team
  • Collaborate internally with service providing teams, ensuring a high level of delivery

Experience

  • Successful sales experience in District Heating, Heat Networks or Energy Services
  • Experience of selling ESCO services – O&M and M&B
  • Experience of negotiating service agreements
  • Ability to grow and lead a team
  • Well connected with heat network developers, asset owners (local authorities, property managers, housing associations) and property developers
