Chronos Energy are working with a company that develops city-wide low carbon energy infrastructure projects. The company is concurrently developing a number of projects, with many more in the pipeline. The Senior Investment Analyst will strengthen the company’s portfolio level financial capability, being responsible for valuation, owning financial models, and helping contribute to investment decisions. You will work closely with the Commercial Modeller, lead financial analysis for investment cases, up to FID. The role will straddle commercial modelling whilst also extracting strategic assumptions that will be communicated with the PE fund.

Responsibilities

  • Own models, ensure they are working to best practice, working closely with the commercial modeller
  • Lead development for investment cases, scenario analysis, forecasting, return assessments
  • Closely involved with investment decisions & equity raise
  • Review project level models
  • Own portfolio wide assumptions (CAPEX, OPEX, pricing)
  • Present insights to SLT

Experience Needed

  • Experience with Energy Infrastructure or Renewable Assets
  • Understand infrastructure valuation, project finance, investment decision frameworks
  • Can develop & own complex financial models
  • Excellent communication skills, able to extract strategic information and express it succinctly
  • Worked in private equity or fast-paced consultancy environment
