Chronos Energy are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our client's team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analysing project requirements, gathering data, and providing accurate cost estimates. Our client are a market leading energy services company who specialise in decarbonising large buildings. You can be based anywhere in England with travel to sites as and when required.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Evaluate and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
- Estimate costs for labour, materials and equipment.
- Compile and organise data from various sources to create comprehensive and detailed cost estimates.
- Review project plans, specifications and other documents to understand the scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments.
- Identify and assess potential risks that may impact projects and budgets.
- Produce reports post-project to improve future estimating accuracy.

Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience
- Qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry in one or more of the following: commercial refurbishment, commercial newbuild, renewables or MEP.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail orientated with a focus on accuracy.
