Our client is a leading consultancy specialising in the development and delivery of low carbon energy infrastructure projects for real estate portfolios and urban developments. Role Overview The Development Manager will play a key role in leading and supporting the commercial development of low carbon energy projects across the UK, with a focus on mixed-use and real estate-led energy systems. You will manage projects from early-stage feasibility and commercial structuring through to procurement, construction oversight, and handover to asset management. Working closely with clients, technical advisors, and supply chain partners, you’ll ensure that projects are commercially viable, deliverable, and aligned with clients’ sustainability and investment objectives. Key Responsibilities Early Stage Development Support feasibility assessments, business case development, and investment appraisals for energy infrastructure projects. Lead or support the preparation of commercial and financial models, including ESCo (Energy Services Company) and third-party investment structures. Assist in the structuring and negotiation of project contracts, including Energy Services Agreements, Heat Supply Agreements, and related commercial frameworks.
