Chronos Energy are working with a leading property management agent who oversee 108 energy centres and numerous Heat Networks. They are currently hiring a Building Services Heat Decarb Engineer to help meet the incoming Heat Networks regulations, as well as making operational efficiency improvements. The role will also focus on the wider portfolio of residential buildings.

Role

The Building Service Heat Decarb Engineer will ensure that existing buildings and assets comply to HNTAS. As part of the technical team, you will be responsible for operational excellence across the UK.

You will be responsible for reviews, survey and assessments, ensuring HNTAS compliance. This will include energy centres, plantrooms and metering infrastructure. The role will include being a subject matter expert for all M&E systems. Managing assets through contractors, ensuring operational performance.

You will contribute to the internal process to enhance building & asset performance. Develop asset improvements plans, maintenance strategies & operational standards.

Experience

  • Mechanical or Electrical educational background
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems
  • Experience with Heat Networks/district heating systems
  • Experience with operational performance of M&E assets/Buildings
