Bid Manager

A well established and successful energy company operating in the buoyant district heating market in the UK are currently looking to recruit a Bid Manager into their team. The client have an expanding portfolio of schemes length and breadth of the company including a healthy pipeline of potential opportunities. Reporting into the Strategic Development Director you will be responsible for creating and evaluating bids and tenders in attempt to continue to secure projects UK wide. The ideal candidate will have the following experience; Ideally 5 years experience in a bid writing/bid manager role experience working in heat networks or district heating would be preferred but other energy infrastructure industries will be considered Must have experience bidding and tendering on local council/government frameworks Have an understanding of local council bidding procedures Must be comfortable stakeholder managing and client facing The role will be home based with minimal travel for meetings and client site visits. You can be based anywhere in the UK as long as you are comfortable with occasional UK wide travel. Please apply within ASAP.
