Job Description
Our client is a leader in noninvasive treatment solutions and research in neurosurgery. These treatments are now FDA approved and CE marked and provide a platform to expand the use of this non-invasive surgical tool for treatments in the human brain. This company is a pioneer in its field and is currently in clinical trials with further, groundbreaking medical innovations.
They are looking to hire a Clinical Applications Specialist to cover their treatment sites in the UK.
Required Experience:
B.Sc. equivalent or higher in Biomedical science
Committed to addressing customer needs and achieving company/team goals and deadlines
Able to find optimal techno clinical solutions to first-time-seen problems
Able to lecture in front of a large audience
Domestic and international traveling of at least 50% of the time. Periodically required to work weekends and nights and may be required to engage in occasional overnight travel.
Responsibilities:
Initiate MRgFUS neurosurgical clinical programs in new centers
Participate in treatments of clinical and experimental brain indications
Demonstrate expertise and in-depth understanding in all aspects of the technology
For new and existing centers, this position will train, communicate and guide to a high standard, a broad level of clinical personnel and account/business employees in the actions and functions of the system
Support techno clinical R&D activities and assist with defining specifications for new generations of existing products and new indications
Contribute to the completion of research milestones at the regional, national and/or international level
