We are looking for an experienced eCommerce Manager, reporting to the Director of Logistics. The role would be multi-site and you may be expected to work between our Nantgarw and Treorchy Distribution Centres. The eCommerce Manager would be focused on delivering exceptional service and customer satisfaction for our brand of clothing, accessories, and jewellery. The ideal candidate would have a proven track record in an E-fulfilment environment, with a strong focus on demonstrating ROI through monitoring and reporting of key KPIs. An understanding of direct-to-customer networks would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the network to ensure operations meet service level agreements and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Act as a systems expert for fulfilment management systems.
- Partner with operations, customer care, and merchandising to update system parameters supporting sales strategies.
- Manage the eCommerce fulfilment team to support operational goals, with a focus on team building and development.
- Review eCommerce order fulfilment processes to improve productivity and industry standards.
- Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations to address customer experience challenges.
- Manage performance of returns and key metrics for the health of the fulfilment network.
- Oversee reporting and analytics for the fulfilment network.
- Plan daily staffing, agency requirements, and budget.
- Manage all aspects of H&S.
- Experience managing 3PL contractors and monitoring service level agreements.
- Maintain P&L awareness and provide regular reports.
Requirements
- Experience in direct-to-customer network operations.
- Extensive knowledge in direct fulfilment, maintaining customer service levels via external partners.
- Understanding of logistics finance, variance analysis, and contract negotiation.
- Ability to act independently and drive process improvements.
