Our client is a pioneer in real-time image recognition analysis for the retail industry and in-store measurement solutions. This is a full-time permanent position based in Paddington.

The Crowdsourcing Operations Manager, EMEA, will oversee regional data collection activities and manage relationships with third-party data collection partners. The role involves building crowdsourcing capabilities across Europe, requiring problem-solving skills, creativity, collaboration, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or service delivery.
  • Experience with crowd-based or on-demand workforces is highly advantageous, especially if you’ve launched a service in a new region.
  • Experience with information systems and analytical analysis.
  • Data, analytics, or retail/CPG experience is a major plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate all data collection efforts in EMEA, through crowdsourcing or traditional vendors.
  • Collaborate with the Global Crowdsourcing Operations team to develop operational playbooks and processes for on-demand crowdsourcing in EMEA.
  • Manage and train the crowd, including communication and support.
  • Coordinate data quality control and liaise with image recognition operations.
  • Respond to inquiries, resolve problems and risks.
  • Develop ongoing support models with Data Collection HQ as the business grows.
  • Provide operational updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage large datasets through multiple process stages.
