Main Focus & Key Responsibilities
- Legal Strategy & Risk Management: Formulate and execute the overarching legal strategy for our international holding company to align with long-term commercial goals. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate complex legal risks across corporate activities, contracts, intellectual property, employment, and litigation.
- Global Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict compliance with all local and international regulations, statutory acts, and corporate governance standards across every operational jurisdiction. Continuously monitor changes in global legislation and rapidly adapt internal policies.
- Intellectual Property Protection: Lead comprehensive strategies to safeguard the company's extensive intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Swiftly detect and resolve potential IP infringements worldwide.
- Corporate Expansion: Strategically structure and oversee the launch and registration of new corporate entities globally, minimizing multi-jurisdictional liabilities.
- Financial & Regulatory Alignment: Supervise the legal preparation and review of corporate financial statements. Coordinate cross-border external audits and collaborate tightly with internal compliance squads to guarantee total transparency.
What We Expect from You
- Proven Executive Track Record: 5+ years of experience as a Head of Legal, VP of Legal, or General Counsel within a dynamic, fast-paced international enterprise.
- Linguistic Excellence: English at a professional C1/C2 level is required. Fluency/bilingual proficiency in the Russian language is highly preferred to ensure fluent communication across our distributed leadership team.
- Legal Mastery: Authoritative knowledge across multi-jurisdictional corporate law, international commercial contracts, global labor standards, and digital intellectual property regulations.
