We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who brings deep technical expertise together with strong business thinking and long-term strategic vision, and who can shape technology as the foundation of a truly global product.
Responsibilities- Technology Strategy & Vision
- Define and own our long-term technology vision aligned with business goals.
- Translate company strategy into clear technical roadmaps and execution plans.
- Balance innovation, speed, scalability, and cost efficiency across all products.
- Make architecture decisions that support growth, security, and operational excellence.
- Business & Product Alignment
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, product, finance, and operations teams.
- Evaluate business ideas and initiatives from a technical and ROI perspective.
- Ensure technology enables monetization, scalability, and global expansion.
- Participate in strategic planning, M&A discussions, and new product launches.
- Platform, Architecture & Infrastructure
- Own system architecture across products, data, and infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability, security, performance, and scalability.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and reliability.
- Lead technical decisions around blockchain, data platforms, and integrations.
- Team Leadership & Execution
- Build, lead, and scale high-performing engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Set clear standards for engineering quality, delivery, and accountability.
- Create strong managers and tech leads, not just individual contributors.
- Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Process & Operational Excellence
- Establish efficient development processes, delivery cycles, and governance.
- Improve predictability of delivery β timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Optimize costs, technical debt, and resource allocation.
- Implement metrics for engineering performance and system health.
- Risk, Security & Compliance
- Own security, data protection, and infrastructure risk management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, financial, and operational requirements.
- Anticipate technical risks and proactively address them.
- 8+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, including CTO, VP Engineering, or Head of Engineering.
- Strong technical background with experience in scalable backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern architectures.
- Proven experience working closely with business leaders and influencing strategy.
- Ability to think in terms of ROI, scalability, trade-offs, and long-term impact, not just technology.
- Experience building and leading distributed, international engineering teams.
- Track record of delivering complex products in high-growth environments.
- Strong decision-making skills in ambiguous, fast-moving contexts.
- Excellent communication skills β able to explain complex ideas simply.
- Fluent English (C1+).
- Experience in fintech, crypto, Web3, or infrastructure-heavy products is a strong plus, but not mandatory.
