My client is a well-established electronic repair company with an excellent reputation within the industry. They are currently experiencing a period of growth and are looking for an experienced repair engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluation of repairs of various electronic equipment
- Dismantling and assessment of repairs
- Repair and testing
- Ability to interpret diagrams
- Fault find PCBs to component level
- Background in diagnosis
- Some programming experience desirable
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to reverse engineer (preferred)
- Ability to solder through whole and/or surface mount PCBs
- Updating software with findings, work required, spare parts, materials and labour
- Communicating with all members of staff and when required suppliers & customers
