POSITION SUMMARY: The role will support the Head of Finance & Commercial – Turbine Services Limited (CTSL) with the provision of timely, accurate and appropriate Management Information (MI) and a strong control environment. The role will also provide accounting support to other entities in the UK (CUK) and Middle East (GULF & CARA). The role-holder will be required to assist and support the CTSL Finance team in connections with the Chromalloy Corporate Finance teams in West Palm Beach, USA. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Management Accounting Providing timely and accurate monthly management accounts, monthly accounts and full stock reconciliations including stock / inventory reporting and analysis, in line with accounting principles Compiling all balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting corporate reporting of these Monthly reconciliation of ERP and HFM, analyze where issues arise and provide variance reporting Oversight of intercompany balances, including monthly recharge process Business Compliance & Reporting Work with HR and external advisors to support the monthly payroll process Prepare and submit timely VAT returns on a monthly basis Annual statutory accounts preparation and audit pack Liaison with auditors and tax advisors Commercial Business Partnering Prepare part profitability analysis and provide insight/improvements into reporting Work with other departments, including Operations and Supply Chain, to understand job profitability and support accurate financial reporting Support the Finance Manager with regular forecasting cycles Receive, review and prepare additional financial information for head office Financial Controls & Process Review and develop effective processes and controls for financial reporting; liaise with other departments to improve overall company controls Support and advise the Finance Assistant with transactional processing where required, including credit control and supplier payments Ad-hoc project work The Management Accountant is also required to deputize for other members of the finance team during their absence & holiday period. EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Education Bachelor’s degree preferred Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience 5 years + Work Experience Minimum 1 years post qualification or 5 years relevant experience ERP and business systems development Audit and statutory accounting Business analytics Tax knowledge Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Previous transferrable experience using strong analytical skills to change outcomes Demonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, techniques, and regulatory requirements in a job-costing environment Excellent Microsoft Office skills particularly excel Able to demonstrate experience of influencing a variety of peers and stakeholders
