Overview
In this role, you will deliver hands-on HR support at the Glasgow site while coordinating HR services for CHOL in the Netherlands. You’ll manage core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, ensure data accuracy and compliance, and partner with local and international colleagues to drive consistent HR services. You’ll contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement, supporting cross-site collaboration and policy adherence. This position offers exposure to an international manufacturing environment and a chance to shape HR processes across two sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR generalist support to managers and employees at the TSL Glasgow site
- Support CHOL with HR administration and cross-site coordination, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up
- Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection requirements
- Coordinate employee lifecycle administration, including new starters, contractual changes, absence records, benefits, and leavers
- Support recruitment activities, including vacancy administration, interview coordination, candidate communication, offers, pre-employment checks, and onboarding
- Provide first-line guidance on HR policies, procedures, and routine employee relations matters, escalating complex cases where appropriate
- Support performance management, training, employee engagement, and wellbeing activities
- Prepare HR reports and data to support decision-making, workforce planning, and compliance requirements
- Work collaboratively with Payroll, Finance, site leadership, and global HR colleagues
- Contribute to the improvement and standardisation of HR processes across TSL and CHOL
Key requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an HR generalist or comparable HR role
- Practical knowledge of UK employment law and employment regulations
- Experience supporting HR administration across the employee lifecycle
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and HR systems
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Dutch is required to support effective collaboration and administration for CHOL
- Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively within an international HR team
