Overview
In this role you will lead and expand testing across mobile apps, embedded software, web applications and backend services within a collaborative R&D context. You will drive testing strategy, ensure quality of embedded code, and mentor the test team as part of a cross-disciplinary engineering group. The position offers impact by shaping testing practices across platforms and accelerating product readiness. This role suits a technically curious leader who can bridge hardware and software teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive end-to-end testing strategy across mobile apps, embedded software, web apps and backend services
- Lead testing efforts for embedded code and cross-platform components
- Mentor and guide the testing team, fostering technical growth
- Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional engineers to ensure quality gates
- Manage test case design and execution, including TestRail usage and reporting
Key requirements
- IQSTB Foundation Level qualification or above
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Experience testing web applications and REST APIs
- Experience with TestRail
- Technical leadership/mentoring (desirable)
- Embedded background beneficial (not mandatory)
