An established UK manufacturer is looking to appoint an experienced Time-Served Toolmaker to join a small, hands-on toolroom. This is a standalone-style role, ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving and supporting both NPI and live production.
Key Responsibilities
- Support new product introduction: bespoke tooling, fixtures, assemblies, repairs and maintenance
- Support production with drilling and general toolroom machining
- Diagnose and solve issues independently in a fast-paced environment
About You
- Time-served Toolmaker with strong toolroom and fitting experience
- Confident working independently and thinking outside the box
- Practical, proactive, and happy in a varied hands-on role
- Desirable Aerospace background (British Aerospace experience advantageous)
- HNC or equivalent technical qualification
- Experience with pneumatics, basic electrics or electronics
Package
- Salary up to £35,000
- NEST pension 3% employer contribution
- Private healthcare after 12 months
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays
