Overview
As Technical Delivery Lead you will own the technical direction across cloud, integration, and business application platforms, acting as the senior technical voice on project teams. You will be hands-on with delivery while shaping plans, estimates, and risks, and communicating with project managers and senior IT stakeholders. You’ll drive automation and standardisation of delivery and keep ahead of evolving technology. This is a chance to influence cloud and AI-enabled delivery within a professional services context and partner with cross-functional teams to realise strategic outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction across cloud, integration, and business application platforms
- Hands-on delivery coupled with shaping plans, estimates, and risk management
- Explain technical plans clearly to project managers and senior IT stakeholders
- Drive automation and standardisation of delivery processes
- Stay informed on emerging technologies to guide future decisions
Key requirements
- Strong Azure experience with hands-on delivery and leadership
- Secure-by-design thinking across identity, access, governance and compliance
- Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD with Terraform and Azure DevOps
- Integration experience with Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus or Fabric
- Some exposure to Microsoft AI (Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, AI Builder)
- Nice-to-have: Legal platforms like iManage, Intapp or Elite 3E (not essential)
- Leadership and people management
- Clear communication with project managers and IT stakeholders
- Problem solving and strategic thinking
- Azure cloud architecture and delivery
- Terraform and Azure DevOps for IaC and CI/CD
- Secure-by-design principles for identity, access, governance and compliance
