A global business in the south Manchester area is looking to increase its R&D capability due to successfully winning new projects. Chroma are looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer who can design bespoke boards from concept/specification.

The role of Senior Electronics Design Engineer reports to the CTO on a day-to-day basis working as part of a multi-disciplined team. You’ll act as Technical Lead on projects, mentoring and supporting other junior engineers. The team consists of hardware, mechanical, software, test and validation engineers.
This role is classed as full lifecycle, where you’ll be involved from specification, design, test, validation and delivery for manufacture. You’ll be working with external and internal partners to deliver highly complex solutions.
Senior Electronics Design Engineer Requirements:
Degree qualifed in Electronics Engineering
Knowledge of LEO/GEO communication payloads
Defence/Aerospace/Satellite/Telecommunications experience
Analogue and Digital design
Schematic Capture
PCB Design & Layout (all packages considered)
RF Design
EMC/EMI standards
