A leading space technology organisation is looking to add a Senior AIT On-Board Engineer to their growing UK Space team in Harwell (Stevenage option available). Chroma are supporting the search to help meet increasing demand across next-generation satellite payload and on-board processing programmes. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of satellite communications technology, taking ownership of integration, verification and test activities for advanced on-board processing hardware. It's an excellent opportunity for a Senior AIT On-Board Engineer who enjoys hands-on engineering and wants to play a key role in the delivery of cutting-edge space systems.
Senior AIT On-Board Engineer Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience in AIT, verification, systems integration or testing of complex electronic or spaceflight hardware
- Strong understanding of digital electronics, embedded systems, FPGA-based systems and electrical integration
- Experience with electrical and functional integration of complex hardware systems
- Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, logic analysers and signal generators
- Experience using Linux and Windows operating systems
- Python scripting for test automation and data analysis
- Knowledge of digital signal processing concepts
