Chroma are working with an internationally recognised specialist equipment designer and manufacturer who are searching for a Mechanical Technician to join their team due to growth. The successful Mechanical Technician will be very practical and able to assemble, test, calibrate and install a wide range of systems. This includes precision components and delicate assemblies through to large electro-mechanical instrumentation. The work will be a healthy blend of new products and refurb work for a wide range of customers. The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Engineer with good electrical/knowledge and excellent hands-on skills – either in industry or their spare time (engineering hobbyist, repairing cars, bikes, machines etc.). You will work in a small and tight knit team and have plenty of scope to grow and take on more responsibility. This could be additional duties, product development or travel opportunities for the right candidate.
