We're currently working with an established and growing engineering business who are looking to add a Product Data Administrator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in SAP PLM, BOM management or engineering data to join a technical environment where you'll have genuine involvement in the product lifecycle.
You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate product data, creating mechanical and electrical BOMs, processing engineering changes and supporting new-part documentation, while working closely with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.
The team will need someone who can take ownership of product data and help ensure engineering changes are accurately managed and implemented. It's a varied role that offers exposure to engineering, manufacturing, product development and configuration management.
Product Data Administrator Requirements :
Experience using SAP PLM, SAP Engineering Control Centre or a similar PLM system.
Experience creating and maintaining mechanical and electrical BOMs.
Understanding of ECR/ECO processes and engineering change management.
Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing technical data.
