They’re looking for an experienced Azure Data & Platform Engineer to join on a 12‑month FTC, with strong potential to extend as the programme continues to scale. The roadmap includes significant new data product development throughout 2026 as the business moves toward real‑time, event‑driven architecture.
What you’ll be doing:
- Migrating and modernising legacy data pipelines and integrations into Azure‑native services
- Designing, building and deploying new data pipelines, APIs and platform components
- Working across Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid and Event Hub
- Supporting the development of scalable data platforms
- Collaborating closely with architecture, engineering and product teams to ensure cohesive delivery
- Contributing to a high‑profile B2C digital environment with large‑scale data flows and customer touchpoints
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in data engineering or platform engineering roles
- Strong hands‑on experience across the Azure ecosystem (ADF, Functions, Logic Apps, Event‑driven services)
- Practical experience with Databricks (PySpark/Delta) and/or Snowflake in production environments
- Solid background in API integrations, data ingestion patterns and pipeline orchestration
- Strong understanding of REST, JSON, XML, JDBC and modern data interchange formats
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform is advantageous
