Chroma is partnered with multiple major B2C brands undergoing a large‑scale digital and data transformation. This is a standout opportunity for an engineer who wants to work on big‑name, high‑volume B2C digital platforms and contribute to a modern data ecosystem used by millions of customers. They’re looking for an experienced Azure Data & Platform Engineer to join on a 12‑month FTC, with strong potential to extend as the programme continues to scale. You’ll be central to a multi‑year initiative focused on modernising data pipelines, uplifting legacy integrations and shaping a cloud‑native data platform built on Azure. The roadmap includes significant new data product development throughout 2026 as the business moves toward real‑time, event‑driven architecture.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Migrating and modernising legacy data pipelines and integrations into Azure‑native services
  • Designing, building and deploying new data pipelines, APIs and platform components
  • Working across Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid and Event Hub
  • Supporting the development of scalable data platforms
  • Collaborating closely with architecture, engineering and product teams to ensure cohesive delivery
  • Contributing to a high‑profile B2C digital environment with large‑scale data flows and customer touchpoints

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience in data engineering or platform engineering roles
  • Strong hands‑on experience across the Azure ecosystem (ADF, Functions, Logic Apps, Event‑driven services)
  • Practical experience with Databricks (PySpark/Delta) and/or Snowflake in production environments
  • Solid background in API integrations, data ingestion patterns and pipeline orchestration
  • Strong understanding of REST, JSON, XML, JDBC and modern data interchange formats
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform is advantageous
