A world-renowned Machinery Design Manufacturer is looking for an experienced Electrical Assembly Team Leader to join their growing Production department. This company specialise in the design of Special Purpose Machinery for a niche sector on a global scale.
Responsibilities:
- You will report directly to the Assembly Senior Manager and oversee the assembly & electrical department, consisting of over 20 engineers.
- This will include executing daily and weekly plans, KPIs, team training and development, department audits and adhering to department process and manufacturing improvements (Lean, Kaizen etc.).
- You must have an in-depth knowledge of a manufacturing production environment and have the ability to work as a focal point between engineering departments.
Requirements:
- Apprentice or HND Qualified (Engineering Discipline)
- Proven experience as an Assembly/Production Manager or Team Lead/Supervisor
- Manufacturing & Process Improvement Lean, Kaizen, Just in time etc.
- Experience of Electrical Assembly (PLC knowledge also desirable)
