A great opportunity for a Design & Development Engineer to work at an SME specialising in electro-mechanical devices used in harsh environments.
The successful Design & Development Engineer will contribute to the Product Development team and will be responsible for taking new products through the full design lifecycle. This is a highly varied role involving material science, R&D, CAD design, DFM and simulations through to prototyping, assembly and testing.
The chosen Mechanical Design & Development Engineer will be granted a lot of autonomy whilst also being supported by a friendly team of talented peers. In return the company can offer a competitive salary and a strong benefits package including an excellent bonus scheme!
Design & Development Engineer requirements:
- Degree or HNC/D in Mechanical Engineer, Material Science (or similar)
- 3D CAD - SolidWorks (or similar)
- Proven full lifecycle product design and development
- Intricate component design
- Hands-on assembly and test
- Ultrasonics / NDT industry experience (highly desirable)
