Contract Role - Outside IR35
We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team delivering accurate and timely engineering packages for machinery projects. Reporting to the Technical Director, you’ll drive performance, uphold standards, and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
- Oversee design output, drawings, and BOMs for on-time delivery.
- Maintain engineering standards and team training plans.
- Support SolidWorks implementation and design-for-manufacture improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead key improvement projects.
About You
- Degree or HNC/ONC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven leadership and communication skills.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in machine design.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, PDM, and ERP systems (IFS or similar).
- OEM or machinery manufacturing experience preferred.
