Chroma Recruitment is looking for an experienced Senior Product Development Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative industrial products within a manufacturing environment. This role will see you designing mechanical systems, carrying out FEA analysis, leading prototype development, and supporting products through to manufacture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design complex mechanical systems using SolidWorks
- Carry out FEA analysis and product validation
- Lead prototype builds, testing and DFMEA activities
- Produce manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and work with cross-functional teams
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a Senior Product Development or Mechanical Design role
- Strong SolidWorks and FEA experience
- Knowledge of machinery safety standards and CE marking
- Background in industrial machinery, automation or manufacturing
