A fast-growing business in the Farnborough area is looking to increase its R&D capability for new and future projects. This company is looking to add a Senior Software Validation Engineer offering the chance to work on some of the latest and coolest technology in the industry.
The role of Senior Software Validation Engineer reports to the Software Manager and will take ownership of system-level validation activities, ensuring products meet functional and performance expectations across telecommunications platforms.
As Senior Software Validation Engineer, you’ll develop system test plans in collaboration with test and development teams, investigate test failures, validating chipsets and helping product evolution through test systems.
Senior Software Validation Engineer Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Computer Science, Software or Electronics Engineering
- Systems level testing
- Python test environment (C/C++ helpful too)
- Experience of testing telecommunications/satellite systems
- Solid understanding of RF fundamentals
- SerDes (Serialiser/Deserialiser) would be of interest but not essential!
