Overview
As a Senior SerDes Validation Engineer, you will validate high-speed PHYs and link performance for next-generation satellite and telecom systems. You’ll lead lab bring-up, automated tests, and root-cause analysis, collaborating with development teams across the product lifecycle. You’ll leverage your expertise in high-speed digital validation to ensure robust SerDes performance in challenging environments. This role offers impact by shaping cutting-edge chipset validation in a highly innovative, collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Lab bring-up for high-speed interfaces
- Automated test development and execution
- Performance validation of SerDes links
- Root-cause analysis of hardware issues
- Collaboration with development teams across the product lifecycle
Key requirements
- 5+ years in chip, system, or high-speed interface validation
- Strong knowledge of SerDes technologies and high-speed link testing
- Hands-on lab experience with oscillosccopes, BERTs, and network analysers
- Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for test automation
- Experience investigating and debugging complex hardware issues
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
