An innovative company in the Northwest is excited to announce a new opportunity to join their growing R&D team at their new office in the Blackburn area. Chroma are searching for a Electronics and Firmware Engineer to help support the increasing demand for bespoke solutions.

The ideal candidate will be hardware biased but with some experience working on firmware too.

Electronics and Firmware Engineer Requirements:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Electronics, Embedded Software, Systems Engineering
  • Analogue & Digital Circuit Design
  • Microcontroller development
  • PCB Design & Layout
  • Firmware development – Arduino
  • EMC/Approvals testing (desirable)

This role will report to the Technical Director who will support this role and help develop the person further. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on electronics in their free time.

As a Electronics and Firmware Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the design, development, debugging and testing of their solutions. You’ll be working closely with customers to ensure all requirements are met in line with the relevant compliance standards.
