Overview
In this role you will contribute to cradle-to-grave hardware projects within an innovative R&D environment in Cheshire. You will work as part of a growing team, reporting to the R&D Manager, with ownership of hardware-focused initiatives and some firmware exposure. Expect to design analogue and digital circuits, developMCUs, and drive PCB layout using industry tools. This is an opportunity to shape bespoke electronics solutions and collaborate across disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Lead hardware design from concept to production for bespoke solutions
- Design analogue and digital circuits
- Develop microcontroller-based firmware alongside hardware work
- Create and review schematics, test plans, and documentation
- PCB design and layout using Altium
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals
- Own project delivery timelines and quality outcomes
