A world-renowned Heavy Engineering and Fabrication specialist in South Yorkshire are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. This company is on their next wave of growth, supplying a global client base on projects from £30K - £10M.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll report directly to the Engineering Manager and oversee the design and development of heavy fabrications, steelworks, and sheet metal design for full turnkey solutions used in the Oil & Gas, Process, Water & Industrial sectors to name a few.
Ideally, you’ll be well versed in 3D modelling (Inventor), draughting, GA drawings, technical documentation & BOM’s as well as capabilities in leading other Engineers.
Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:- HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or time-served)
- Heavy Industry background – Steelwork, Fabrications etc.
- CAD – Inventor (others considered)
- Experience in Design for Manufacture
- FEA Experience (Desirable)
- 25 Days Holiday + 8 Statutory
