A fantastic opportunity is available in the Wilmslow area for a Technical Support Engineer to join a global leader within the scientific instrumentation industry. The Technical Support Engineer role involves providing technical support to customers and field service engineers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex instrumentation issues, delivering technical training, and supporting product performance improvements. This role is great for engineers with a strong analytical instrumentation background.

The ideal candidate will already have a base knowledge of their products that focus on thermal analysis and rheology.

Technical Support Engineer requirements:
  • Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Engineering, Electronics or Scientific subject.
  • Essential previous experience working for a scientific instrumentation company.
  • Previous field service or technical support experience within analytical instrumentation.
  • Thermal Analysis, Rheology or materials characterisation experience highly desirable (DSC, TGA, DMAV).
  • Knowledge of complete systems and instrumentation.
  • Full UK driving licence and valid passport required.
