A global supplying Security & Preventative Equipment manufacturer in Staffordshire are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. This company is at the forefront of specialist security systems and fabrications used in one of the world's fastest growing industries.
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be the technical lead in a large multi-skilled Engineering team. You'll lead the NPD function and focus on the design of large steel fabrications and heavy engineered assemblies, through to complex precision equipment utilising BS8888.
This is a multi-skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role consisting of detailed design, calculations, simulation, testing and overseeing your designs through to manufacture.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree Educated in Engineering
- Structural Fabrications, Steelwork etc.
- CAD Solidworks (others considered)
- Engineering Calculations Stress, Load, FEA etc.
- Tolerance Design to BS8888 standards
