A specialist Control Systems and Engineering firm in Stoke-on-Trent are looking for an experienced Electrical Design & Controls Engineer. This company works with a number of OEMs across the Manufacturing, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Water & Steel industries. Due to new projects, you'll join a team of multi-skilled Engineers and report directly to the Controls Director.
You'll have autonomy to design and develop full systems from concept to commissioning phase, including complex control panel design, panel wiring, PLC, HMI & SCADA design and FAT/SAT testing. You'll also have the opportunity to support UK and overseas commissioning activities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded Engineering business in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent where you'll receive first class training and development in a growing business.
Electrical Design & Control Engineer Requirements:
- HNC/D or Degree in an Engineering Discipline
- Electrical Control Panel Design
- PLC Programming (Siemens, Rockwell etc.)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & EPLAN (desirable)
- Clean UK Driving License
