A global leading Special Purpose Machinery manufacturer are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Technical Author to join their growing engineering team. As a Senior Technical Author, you'll lead the companies publications team and be responsible for overseeing the creation, management, and continuous improvement of machine manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical bulletins and ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving innovation in technical documentation, supporting business functions across the organisation, and developing a high-performing team.
Senior Technical Author Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in a Technical Author role within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Cortona 3D (essential), ARAS, Adobe products, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of CE and UKCA documentation legislation and compliance requirements.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
