Due to continuing expansion, this reputable engineering firm are looking to add multiple heads to their engineering team. As part of this growth, they are looking for a mid-level Mechanical Design Engineer. The successful candidate will operate in multi-functional project teams and be exposed to the full life cycle of cutting-edge machinery design.
Key duties include:
- Site visits
- 3D / 2D CAD
- Documentation
- Calculations
- Overseeing work in the workshop
There is an abundance of training and development on offer with opportunities to shadow and have direct supervision from highly skilled senior engineers. The company also offers an exceptional benefits package.
In return, the company are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with:
- Degree level in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
- 3D CAD skills: SolidWorks, PTC Creo (or similar)
- Technical drawing / GD&T
- FEA & hand calculations
- Similar experience in industry highly desirable
