A fast-paced manufacturing business is looking for a Production Engineer to support Manufacturing Engineering, Design, and Planning. You will handle routings, CNC programming, sheet-metal development, and day-to-day production support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create routings, CNC programs, cut lists, and job packs
  • Produce sheet-metal developments (2D/3D CAD-CAM)
  • Maintain CNC laser programs and optimise utilisation
  • Design jigs, fixtures, and fabrication supports
  • Manage IFS tasks and revision changes
  • Support shop floor queries and first-off inspections
  • Contribute to DFM and continuous improvement
  • Provide cost estimates and make vs buy decisions

Requirements

  • Apprentice-trained mechanical engineer
  • Strong CAD-CAM and CNC experience
  • ERP experience (IFS preferred)
  • Confident communicator, able to multitask
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
