A globally recognised Bespoke Machinery & Precision Equipment manufacturer in West Yorkshire are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. This company boasts international outreach, delivering specialist machines and systems for a niche sector.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, youll work in a large and multi-skilled Engineering team on the design and development of complex special purpose machines. This will include rotating machinery and component design, high-precision equipment, pneumatics & hydraulics, 2D drafting and 3D CAD.

This company are strong believers in developing the best in class Engineers, with a strong focus on training, development and progression into Senior appointments.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements

  • HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in Machinery Design & / OR Precision Equipment
  • Design to BS8888 standards (Essential)
  • Strong 2D & 3D CAD Skills
