The successful Mechanical Design & Development Engineer will be tasked with delivering bespoke design solutions and will work on a varied blend of R&D based projects. This will involvedesigning complex components and assemblies, designcalculations, FEA/CFD, regulatory approvals andhands-on test & validation.
The chosen Mechanical Design & Development Engineer will be granted a lot of autonomy whilst also being supported by a friendly team of talented peers. In return the companycan offer a competitivesalary and a strong benefits package.
Mechanical Design & Development Engineerrequirements:
- Degree Level in a Mechanical Engineering discipline (or similar)
- 3D CAD all major packages considered
- GD&T
- Proven mechanical design experience - ideally on high pressure systems
- Test & development
- Hand calculations, FEA, CFD (desirable)
- Full lifecycle design developing bespoke solutions
- Lots of hands-on opportunities not just confined to a design office!
