A growing engineering business based in the Wigan area is actively looking for a new Mechanical Design Engineer to join their small business working on full lifecycle, cutting edge projects. This is a really varied role and will give you the opportunity to design products from a blank sheet all the way through to prototype, hands-on testing and then manufacture. This role will keep you busy as it requires engineers who can interact with customers face to face and offer a consultative service to their requirements. This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is looking to join a close-knit team where you will be working on a range of exciting and innovative products!
Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- HNC/Degree Level in Mechanical Engineering discipline
- Proven design experience ideally with naval/marine products (boats, submersibles etc.) or similar
- 3D CAD SolidWorks
- Design calculations
- Experience with 3D Printing
