One of our key clients based in the Liverpool area is looking for a Business Development Manager with a technical or engineering background to join their growing commercial team. This is an opportunity to join a well-established global manufacturer of bespoke engineered systems, supplying into regulated process industries including pharmaceuticals, life sciences and fine chemicals, as well as emerging sectors such as battery technology and advanced materials.
The Role:
- Covering the UK & Ireland, with growing involvement in international markets (including APAC), you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing key customer relationships.
- You will work closely with engineering, project management and operations teams to shape and deliver tailored solutions, supporting customers through a consultative, specification-led sales process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across process industries
- Managing the full sales lifecycle from initial enquiry through to project order
- Engaging with engineering, operations and project stakeholders
- Developing long-term relationships with both end-users and partners
