A leading food manufacturing business is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join their engineering team following a series of internal promotions.

Working within a team of four Engineers and reporting directly to the Lead Engineer, you'll take ownership of a designated production area, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. The successful candidate will play a key role in planned maintenance activities, reviewing recurring issues, coaching operators and sharing engineering knowledge to improve overall line performance.

Multi Skilled Engineer Requirements:
  • Time-served Multi Skilled Engineer (electrically biased preferred)
  • Previous food manufacturing experience is essential
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills across production equipment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced FMCG environment
  • Knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance practices
  • Comfortable producing detailed shift reports and handovers
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to upskill operators and share technical knowledge
