A bespoke Capital Equipment & Machinery manufacturer in West Yorkshire are looking for an experienced R&D Mechanical Design Engineer. This company are industry leaders, supplying bespoke equipment to niche sectors including Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Pharma & Food.
As a R&D Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll work in a multi-skilled engineering team and take lead on the NPD of specialist equipment including machinery, rotating parts, steelwork and fabrications. You'll be the focal point for concept design, including engineering calculations, FEA simulation, prototyping, 3D modelling and seeing your designs through to manufacture, mechanical build and assembly. This is an excellent chance to join a growing, employee owned business with high levels of retention and strong internal promotion and development.
R&D Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree Qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- FEA Simulation & Analysis
- 2D & 3D Design Experience
