A leading space technology organisation is looking to add a Lead Payload Systems Engineer to their growing UK Space team. Chroma are supporting the search to help meet increasing demand across next-generation satellite communications, RF payload and antenna system development programmes. This role offers the opportunity to lead the design, integration and development of future GEO and advanced satellite payload systems, working across end-to-end communications architectures, RF payloads, antenna systems and ground infrastructure. It's an excellent opportunity for a Lead Payload Systems Engineer who enjoys technical leadership and wants to influence the development of cutting-edge space communications technologies. This role is based onsite in Stevenage or Didcot.
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience
- Payload experience - ESSENTIAL
- Experience working to space industry standards such as ECSS
- Strong background in communications satellite design, including RF payload systems, antenna design and digital payload architectures
- Ability to develop and analyse end-to-end system requirements and perform technical trade studies
