Aglobal leading Special Purpose Machinery manufacturerare seeking an experienced and motivatedSenior Technical Authorto jointheir growing engineeringteam. As aSenior Technical Author, youll lead thecompaniespublications team and be responsible for overseeing the creation, management, and continuous improvement of machine manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical bulletins and ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving innovation in technical documentation, supporting business functions across the organisation, and developing a high-performing team. Senior Technical Author Requirements:
- 5+ years experiencein a Technical Author role within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge ofCortona 3D (essential), ARAS, Adobe products, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of CE and UKCA documentation legislation and compliance requirements.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
