A world-renowned Machinery Design Manufacturer are looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembly Engineer to join their growing department. This company specialise in the design of Special Purpose Machinery for a niche sector on a global scale.
The successful Mechanical Assembly Engineer will be very practical and able to assemble, test, calibrate and install a wide range of complex systems. This includes precision components and delicate assemblies through to large electro-mechanical instrumentation. The work will be a healthy blend of new products and refurb work for a wide range of customers.
The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Assembly Engineer with good electrical knowledge and excellent hands-on skills either in industry or their spare time (engineering hobbyist, repairing cars, bikes, machines etc.).
Mechanical Assembly Engineer requirements:- Apprentice trained / time-served Mechanical Engineer (or similar)
- Precision mechanical assembly
- Electrical/Electronic experience (wiring, soldering, fault finding etc.)
- Passion for engineering / engineering hobbyist!
- 15% Annual Bonus
