Job Description
EXCLUSIVE ROLE: Chroma Recruitment is looking for an experienced Electrician to support the electrical wiring and build of industrial machinery at a specialist engineering company in Doncaster.
This Electrician role will focus on machine wiring, cable installation and electrical assembly, working from drawings to complete equipment safely and to the required build standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete electrical wiring and installation work on industrial machinery
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and build documentation
- Install, route, label and terminate cables, sensors, motors and associated electrical components
- Carry out continuity checks, basic testing and electrical fault-finding during the machine build
- Work closely with the wider engineering and assembly teams to ensure machines are completed safely, accurately and on schedule
Experience Required:
- Previous experience as an Electrician wiring machinery, automation equipment or industrial electrical systems
- Strong practical experience of machine wiring, cable termination and electrical assembly
- Ability to confidently read and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- A good understanding of electrical safety, quality standards and safe working practices
An 18th Edition qualification and a valid IPAF licence are desirable
