We are recruiting for a Control & Instrumentation Designer to join a leading engineering company delivering turnkey, multi-disciplinary projects across the UK and international energy sectors with a clear focus on innovation, long-term client relationships, and the energy transition. This is a critical role within the business, combining technical design expertise with a commitment to delivering excellent client experiences.
You will be working on a diverse range of projects, from early-stage design to detailed implementation, supporting high-profile energy and infrastructure programmes. You will work closely with engineering teams and clients, preparing and checking detailed C&I design documentation, specifying instrumentation, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality, safety, and industry standards. Dynamic working is available, with a mix of office-based and remote flexibility (minimum 2 days/week in Cheshire office).
Essential Skills & Experience:- Proficient in C&I design and control system documentation
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work
- Experience in a C&I design role
- Gas sector or ATEX experience (desirable)
